Your Mission

Nacka Municipality has seven group homes for adults according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). In the homes, our customers live in their own apartments with access to social interaction in the common areas. As a summer substitute awake at night, you will provide support and service to the customers based on their individual needs. This means you help create conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions.

The work is scheduled for awake nights between approximately 20:30-08:30.

Your focus is always on the customers. We adapt to their needs and respect their wishes and preferences. The work includes personal care, medication management, and cleaning. We work to ensure that each customer has their own life on their own terms. Daily documentation is an important part of the work to guarantee good quality and safety in our mission.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have experience working awake at night
• Have good language skills in Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Have good physical ability

It is an advantage if you have:

• Relevant education in care and support or child and leisure
• Work experience with the LSS target group

We want you to be committed to providing good service to our customers and always have the individual's needs in focus. As a person, you are calm, flexible, and can create safety around the customers. You also need to be able to work independently with the customer and feel comfortable with the responsibility that entails.

As a summer substitute, you will be employed by the Staff Competence Supply within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. As a summer substitute, you will work in one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work this summer. We also offer you the opportunity to work as a substitute both before and after your summer substitute position.
